COVID-19 Measures

As we witness the situation of COVID-19 pandemic is changing rapidly, our first priorities are the health and safety of employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

At the moment, in addition to closely monitoring guidelines from global and local health agencies and authorities, we have taken the following steps to create a safe working environment and mitigate the risk of any impacts:

Limit non-essential business travels;
Limit face-to-face meetings for both internal and external parties;
Allow employees to work from home if needed;
Execute Business Continuity Plan (BCP);
Maintain contact with our suppliers and logistic providers; and
Ensure best hygiene practices for all employees and visitors.

We are monitoring the situation closely and ensure the we continue to provide you with the highest level of safety, service and support possible.

Please take good care of yourself and family in this unprecedented time. As long as we stay united, we will overcome any storm.

WEwalk for a Cause @ South East 2019

SAS Asia started the month of December by participating in WEwalk for a Cause @ South East 2019 on 1 December 2019.

A big shout out to all SAS Asia staff and their family and friends who showed up on a hot Sunday morning for the 5km walk. For every 500m walked per participant, one adult diaper would be donated to an underprivileged senior living in the South East District of Singapore by Micron Foundation. As a result of the collaborative spirit from all the participants, a total of 3,180 adult diapers would be donated!

This showed more can be done when teams come together! What a great way to end 2019 by giving back to the society. Stay tuned for our activities in the new year.

Coffee Appreciation Class with Bettr Barista

For our 2019 Q3 CSR activity, our colleagues visited Bettr Barista, a social enterprise which helps youths at risk and marginalised women by equipping them with life skills such as the art of coffee, physical training and emotional training.

The team learnt about specialty coffee and even got their hands on with latte art!
